Since 2007 we have seen many families come through the SantaVision.tv set.
This year, Vicki Dupuis and myself have had the opportunity of actually meeting guests in the lineup while they wait for their turn to talk to Santa. In the past we didn’t have this opportunity as we were busy moving large groups into place on set. With the help of Shaulyn van Baaren at SVB Events, and her crew, we now have a chance to talk to those families and visitors in the lineups.
We are very pleased and proud to know SantaVision.tv has become a part of so many families Christmas experience when they visit Calgary zoo lights .
When I look in the lineup this year, I can see familiar faces from previous seasons. The group that got my attention this night was a family who came to Canada approximately 11 years ago from Holland. They have been visiting Calgary zoo lights for many years and love the experience of chatting with Santa. According to the Father, they have not missed one year since SantaVision.tv went live. He mentions SantaVision.TV is a wonderful opportunity where his family can send a Christmas greeting to their relatives in Holland. They make a point of visiting Santa as every visit is recorded and uploaded to SantaVision.TV! This year they sang a beautiful Christmas greeting in Dutch. What a wonderful family and we all thank them for coming.
Thank you Calgary, and the many visitors from all over Alberta, Canada, U.S. , and world wide who have come for a visit. I can’t think of a better place to be leading up to Christmas.
